Wpromote is a pathfinder that helps companies of all sizes employ a data-driven approach to marketing. The company’s maxim is to help Challenger Brands accelerate their growth and market reach while helping bigger brands innovate consistently to stay competitive. It leverages clients’ customer data to help them target the right audience and enhance growth incrementally. Expert in the areas of paid media (search, social, video, programmatic display, OTT) as well as earned and owned media (SEO, content marketing, influencer), Wpromote brings dramatic improvements in the marketing outcomes across channels. Clients achieve fruitful results through iterative learning enabled by Wpromote’s Digital Intelligence team. The team of data scientists, statisticians, and database experts aids clients in understanding their vast data, measure the marketing performance at any time, and improve their decision making. The insights are delivered through customized dashboards tailored to the different stakeholders across channels. On the other hand, CIOs can connect the dots and bring value to discussions to take the business forward by attracting a greater audience and fueling organic growth.
As a Google Premier partner, a Facebook Marketing Partner and Amazon Agency Partner, Wpromote takes pride in its technology specialists who are constantly testing cutting-edge marketing platform innovations. “We build tools that exploit the massive data points made available by the Google and Facebook platforms, allowing clients to be more productive in marketing,” informs Michael Mothner, Founder and CEO of Wpromote. In addition, the company has also developed a platform that automates repetitive, mundane tasks in marketing, saving a significant amount of time for agencies, groups, and individuals.

Teams can reinvest their saved time on value-based tasks, such as testing new marketing techniques. They can either use their existing data visualization investments such as Tableau to visualize data or avail Wpromote’s proprietary technology (that integrates with CRM and other business systems) to view the insights. Besides, Wpromote also offers rich technology tools built on an innovative attribution model that help different teams fill their knowledge gaps.
Apart from experts and technologies, Wpromote’s client engagement strategy separates it in the market. As the extension of clients’ internal team, team Wpromote, at the outset, aims to understand the overall business goal as well as the individual goals of different teams managing various marketing strategies and channels. Assessing the current set up and the future objectives, the marketing performance is benchmarked against the organizational goals and the reports are shared with both internal teams and external partners. “80 percent of the reports we provide through our platform are templatized, while the remaining 20 percent can be customized based on the clients’ personalized needs,” says Mothner. A case in point, Zenni Optical, a direct-to-consumer challenger brand that sells prescription glasses has grown to become a billion-dollar bellwether from a $20m company earlier by engaging Wpromote.
Wpromote is continuously improving its technology portfolio and adopting newer methods of delivering its solutions. From a geographic standpoint, the company has drawn an expansion plan to increase the staff strength to 500 across its seven U.S. offices.
Wpromote Acquires Growth Pilots, Bolstering Paid Media Offering For High-Growth Clients
EL SEGUNDO, Calif. - Wpromote announced it has acquired Growth Pilots, a San Francisco-based paid media marketing agency. The acquisition, which closed on August 1, 2019, grows Wpromote's West Coast presence and expands its base of venture-backed, high-growth companies. Wpromote's team will increase to nearly 450 employees.
"Growth Pilots has built an impressive team with true expertise in paid media, and they're perhaps Silicon Valleys' best-kept secret, helping the most disruptive tech firms scale their customer acquisition," said Michael Mothner, Wpromote Founder & CEO. "Their focus on working with top rapidly growing companies absolutely shows a Challenger Mindset and we're thrilled to welcome them into the Wpromote family."
"We're proud to be a dedicated partner that stops at nothing to achieve results for our clients," said Soso Sazesh, Growth Pilots Founder & CEO. "As we've matured, so have our clients, and we're excited to meet their needs beyond our current service set. Joining the Wpromote team allows us to expand our capabilities and better serve our clients as they grow and their needs evolve."
Sazesh started Growth Pilots in 2014 after encountering several venture-backed companies struggle to hit aggressive goals with paid acquisition. Growth Pilots works with a select number of companies to ensure they receive the highest quality of service and maximum performance from their paid media channels. Clients include Instacart, Glassdoor, Mixpanel, and SeatGeek.
For Wpromote, the recent acquisition follows three others in the past three years as Wpromote has grown through additions of Standing Dog in Dallas, Prime Visibility in New York, and DemandWave in San Francisco.
The Wpromote team continues to have an exciting year and was named one of AdAge's Best Places to Work in the US for the third time. Other accolades include being awarded Agency of the Year by Search Engine Land and distinguished as one of the Elite Digital Marketing Agencies in Forrester's Search Marketing Wave.
Garros Group advised Wpromote in the transaction.
